You’re invited to attend the 2024 NCC VBS: “Dare to Be!” Join us from Monday, June 10th to Sabbath, June 15th, as we use the stories of Daniel to exemplify how to follow Jesus, and do our part in spreading the Everlasting Gospel! Each day will include crafts, Bible stories, games, songs, and food, all designed to reinforce the spiritual lessons in a way that will be attractive and understanding for our children!

This is a special Sabbath organized by the Medical Missionary Department of the General Conference Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement!
The theme of this Sabbath will be “Temperance” and all churches are invited to study health principles to promote temperance every day! Balance is the key to good health.
What will you do in your local churches during this Health Sabbath? Some ideas include the following:
Go for a nature walk as a church on Sabbath afternoon
Personal reflection form (available upon request!)
Organize a First Aid course for the local church
Organize a cooking class executed by the members
Start a book club to read Temperance by EGW
Accountability partners (Have members sign up and then divide names into pairs (preferably not from the same household or family). Each person shares their exercise goal with their accountability partner, and they check in with each other at least once a week.)
Invite members to look for “Extras” they may have at home and encourage them to donate it to the Dorcas Dept.
If the local church does not have a Dorcas Dept., items can be sent to:
Extra pantry items to the Food Bank
Extra blankets and towels to pet shelters
Extra clothing to local families in need/shelters
“Extra” money can be donated to the Union or GC Welfare Department
The Lakeside and Citrus Heights church youth & children's departments have organized a special opportunity for you to give back to the community and help those in need as we get into the cold months of the winter!
This group will be preparing hot soups, tea, and warm clothing for the homeless population of Sacramento, to be distributed on Wednesday, December 27th at 1:00pm at the Loaves & Fishes facility in downtown Sacramento. Come on out and join the team in providing some warmth to those who are unable to provide for themselves or their families!
Donations towards this project (both physical and financial) are welcome and more details can be given by Sr Daniela Raileanu from Lakeside or Sr Tina Alexa from Citrus Heights.

The aim of the Music Mission Trip 2023 is to take the SDARM GC Symphony Orchestra of 40+ advanced musicians from all around the world, to three different locations to develop a variety of programs and/or activities to be used for missionary work such as concerts, music videos, podcasts, spiritual conferences etc., as well as motivate an inspire local musicians to be part of this project as they use their talents for the honor and glory of God.

The NCC Youth are going on a trip this summer to Zion National Park in Utah!
Where: Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs.
How Much: $300 per person. Fee includes meals, accommodations, activities and transportation for all 4 days and 3 nights.
Who: For all youth aged 13+ (Note: 13-16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18 years of age)
